Different types of Events Empty Different types of Events

Post by David Mon Jul 18, 2011 5:25 am

In this post I will be covering all the events that are host-able and details within the event. Please visit this link here to see all the obtainable event prizes and places. Oh and this is just a draft also, will be edited when time passes.

Remember this:
2 hours between each events. Don't beg for them.
No special privileges to friends who want to 'watch'. Either everybody watches or no one does.
There must be over 5 people PARTICIPATING in your event if you want to host one. [People who are watching do not count]
Items of Choice [IOC] are any rare NX, or item, excluding currency, donor items, chairs, mounts.
Scrolls must be given to the players.
After having received a prize and left the Event Map - you may not ask for a refund.
If you do not decide within 2 minutes what you want, you will be given pet poop.
Find the ITEM ID yourself. GMs will make an effort to help you if you specify an exact name but otherwise tough luck.
Hide and Seek maps must be accessible without warping.
GMs: Failure to obey these rules will get you a strike.

Another event: Musical Chairs.

Also, I think you should take away the 2-minute rule. That leaves unnecessary pressure on the players and if a GM is willing to host an event then he/she should be willing to give the player suggestions and wait for them to choose a prize.

Also, why are the mounts and saddles separate? I think the rule with 1st place getting the full mount set and 2nd place getting to choose either a mount/saddle is a good idea. Keep that.

Oh yeah I know, but I do not know if Tamara is going to leave it in that FM or change it to a new FM.

I'll leave the mount as it is.
GM hosting an event is an option for them and plus the 2 minutes rule is to fasten up pace so it won't take forever just to pick out ONE prize, and also, 2 minutes is quite enough time.

For Russian Roulette I would add the Twisted Switcher stage in the Amoria PQ, 670010400. That's where I hosted my Russian Roulette.
Also for the GM commands for the JQs, you should type !warphere . It'll warp you around the map so you can get to the top/middle/bottom if you need to. Lastly, an alteration of HnS is called FTB (Find The Box) I've hosted once before. You can add that into HnS or just make a whole another spoiler for it if you want.

If you don't mind, can you be more detailed with your RR?

More detail on how I host Russian Roulette or more detail on the map that I usually host it in? Also, for your Hide and Seek description, there's an alteration to that, too. You don't always yell "doodle" unless the GM says to say "doodle." What I usually do is spawn a weak monster so that when you get to the map you have to find the monster that I spawned and kill it. I'll tell them beforehand what monster it'll be.

Well, the map I host it in has about eight or nine platforms that you can stand on with a number or letter above each one. I'll go into hide, sit on a platform, give them about seconds seconds to choose a platform, and then i'll unhide after ten seconds. If they're on that platform when I unhide, they're out. If they're not on a platform by the time ten seconds is over, they're out. I'll spawn a monster on a platform as it gets less and less. It's basically the same.

Kill the map to prevent movement.

This "Different types of Events" post has been edited and revised and you will have to follow these rules after Beta, or you will get a strike.
Feel free to leave a comment if you want to include anymore events you want me to go over, otherwise it's done as it is.
Please check the "Event Prizes" post to check for updates and prizes you can achieve for each events.
