About Me:
My name's Alan, and I'm from Texas. (yee, Longhorns, even though I don't watch football.)
I enjoy playing basketball, and hanging out with my friends. I like to joke around/talk more than
train whenever I play Doodle, just because I see no point in training, but that's just me. ^^
I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Many people believe I am well rounded,
because not only do I get good grades in school, but I also have time to play for the
school basketball team, and I can always reserve some time for the special people
in my life. (Family, old friends, ... girlfriends) (giggity).

The Ideal GM:
In my eyes, the ideal GM is one who knows when to joke around, and when it's time to act
maturely and responsibly. In other words, the perfect balance between fun and business.
He/she also needs to be comitted to his/her position, whatever it may be, in order
to get things done and to get this server on track. He/she must be capable of
keeping this community cleansed of conflict through discipline, while still allowing
everybody to have fun and enjoy the game.

How I'm Unique:
I'm well known for being capable of picking up on new things really fast.
I also know what it means to be part of a team, as I played basketball for my middle school,
and I hope to play for my highschool(incoming freshman). I'm also quite talented at making
friends easily and building on those bonds. I've been raised to try my best at anything and
everything, and to persevere through hard situations - not only physical, but emotional as well.

Improvements:
Because DoodleStory is starting fresh again, I could help by recruiting via asking friends and/or
advertising.I would also make the experience more enjoyable by getting to know anyone I can meet
so they can feel right at home, because as I said earlier, I am fond of making new friends.
I'm sure as time goes on, I will find more things I'll be capable of improving in DoodleStory.
In conclusion, I am truly dedicated to this server and to the people in it, and I want to try my
best to help improve it in any/every way possible.

Current GMs:

Tamara: Tamara is a great person in general. She's easy to talk to whether it's about
something random or if you need help/advice in either Doodle or in real life. She knows
what she's talking about and i'm glad she brought me to her server.

Liam: Liam was a great choice as a GM in my opinion, due to the fact that he knows
quite a bit more than the average Doodler (teehee, funny word). He's easy to get along
with, and he's a great guy overall. (in every homosexual way possible.)

Aaron: Aaron's a really nice guy, and he's impossible to disagree with. He's fun to hang out
with and you know you can talk to him, not only about Doodle, but talking to him in
general is enjoyable. He was a great choice as a GM as well, in my opinion.

Eunsol: Eunsol seems like a really great person in general as well, and I think she fits that
perfect balance between having fun and acting responsibly. I don't know her that well,
but I look forward to getting to know her better. Another great choice for GM.

Anh: Anh is a pretty chill dude. He seems like a great friend and a someone that you can
rely on. I'm starting to get to know him better, and I enjoy having him as a GM.

Carolyn: In my opinion, Carolyn was very generous donating such a large sum of money to
this server, so in return, she deserves her position as a GM and much thanks from
all of us Doodlers.

Playing Time:
Right now, I'm on summer break, so I can play whenever the hell I want, unless I'm doing
my dad's academic work. (Don't call me a nerd, it's for the best). As for when the school
year starts, I have no idea, because I'm an incoming freshman and I don't know what my
schedule is going to look like.

Doodle:
I joined DoodleStory a day after Tamara put it back up, when she came specifically to find me
in another server <3 (Tamara loves me, but then again, who doesn't?)

Positive Effect:
I will have a positive effect on this server by constantly having an optimistic attitude which
is driven by my dedication to making this server the best it can be. I'll be fair and decide
when to cut the person some slack, and when enough is enough. (Unlike Jobofus - forest immigrants
get it) I realize this is a game, and games are meant to be fun - yet some people still don't
understand that, so I'll try to reinforce this, because what really matters is that everyone
is having fun, otherwise, what's the point?

Why I Applied:
I applied because I realized this server as well as Tamara are going to need a lot of help, and
friends stay by each others' side to support them which is why I'm ready to join this server
and leave the other one behind without looking back -cough- Lyn. (forest immigrants will get it.)

My Characteristics:
Like I've said before, I know when it's time to joke around and when it's time to be responsible,
and that I'm capable of making many friends. I know success only comes with hard work, and that
I would give it my all to give players their best experience in DoodleStory. I like to be humorous,
and I can be kind as long as I am treated the same way in return. I'm a pretty chill guy; I don't
like to overreact or assume things without reasoning and/or logic (Jobofus). If you get to know me,
you'll find that I'm a nice person to hang out with, and I'm always capable of resolving conflicts.

That Pointless Question that Demanded a Funny Answer:
When Littlefoot's mother died in 'Land Before Time', I started laughing my ass off
because I thought it was hilarious. ^^

Additional Comments:
I just want to add that(even though you said not to, Tamara), this will be my first time being
a GM if i am accepted, and I hope I can learn on the fly and gain experience as time goes on.
As I've said before, I'm quick at picking new things up, and I hope that applies to becoming a GM.
I can't wait to see everybody in game! Smile

Overall, Really good App. Well thought out and very well written. I think you have pretty much the exact idea of what a GM is and what they do. If i were to make an App this is almost an exact match to what i'd say. This is one of the best i've seen so far, you seem really friendly and committed. Your playing time isn't limited so if there were any problems you would be able to go on, etc. Even though you do not have the experience there are many other people with the experience that could help if any questions or issues with commands. As for Events, i doubt they're hard to figure out. GL. Very good App.

Herrro Alan! Good luck. You're grammar is excellent, as well as spelling. That's something every GM should have so that every player can understand them speaking. You told me you thought out this GM App a lot before posting, and it seems like you have. You admitted that if you get accepted that this would be a first time, and honesty is a plus. I know that you're very active too and online a lot. However,(criticism part, you're favorite teehee) because I do know you, I know the way you joke. I know you said that there's times that you can joke and times that you need to be serious. Of course a lot of the time you're going to be joking around and a lot of the times you're going to be serious. When you're joking around with people that you're not very close with, you can't do your usual jokes and be harsh. The players could report you for making them feel bad and not being nice. Also, you said that you're going to be very active in the summer. Of course school is very important and getting good grades is important. But if you're going to be GM you need to be able to make it work. Being GM is a basically like a job. You shouldn't be questioning if you're going to just stop playing once school starts. If you think you're going to not be as active or quit once school starts, you need to ask Tamara if you can apply for a temporary GM position.

@Daniel Thanks! As Liam mentioned, I did spend a lot of time on this application, making sure everything was explained and detailed. I reread it countless times, and it seems to have paid off. Thanks for the feedback ^^

@Liam Thanks for the response. I understand what you mean when you say my jokes can be harsh, but I always get to know the person and let the person get to know me before I do start joking with them. If I realize they're not the kind of people who will tolerate my jokes, I'll stop instantaneously, and find something else to talk about. As for playing when school starts, I will play Doodle ONCE I finish my academic work, but my schoolwork can't possibly take up the full day, so I'm *almost* guaranteed to be on everyday. Weekends I'll be on for sure, unless I'm out with friends. Once again, thanks, i really appreciate it ^^

WOW!!!!! I was astonished!Really Good App in my opinion. I like how you show that your a great person and that we can count on you and we will interact in a good way because were a team(do we have a team name?).I also like how you showed that your a great choice by showing that you are kind hearted and are a person who will not abuse the GM status. LOL FUNNY Stuff!!! I like how you added a comparison to the opposite of how you will be
(cough Jobofus cough).As I said before you would be a great choice as a GM.

Hey Alan.

In the last few days I've seen you improve quite a bit. In the beginning, you used to act negatively towards certain people you weren't fond of, but in the last two days I've seen you able to FIX the relationships that were shaky and get on good terms with most people. That's definitely a good sign I like to see in people who want to lead. You also crack some hilarious jokes and you seem like you'd be dedicated. Good luck.

Thanks Chad, I know what you mean when you say I acted negatively towards people I disagreed with, but all people have their strengths and their weaknesses, and we all need start capitalizing on our strengths and try working on our weaknesses. I admit I still have room for improvement, but I think the fact that I'm trying is what's most important.
